It’s My Tern!

What can you say? Baby birds are cute! I love the way this baby tern waddles excitedly back and forth, eagerly awaiting dinner; and his parents bring him a nice fresh baitfish–a sand eel–and try to teach him how to eat it. Without hands, teeth, knife, or fork. Try it sometime.

  1. The amazing thing is, God gave these animals such distinct personalities. They used to think that a “sense of self” was limited to humans and apes, but it’s becoming obvious that animals have traits that make them individual. I’ve seen it in pets, and you can see it in that baby term.
