We don’t have any hymn requests yet today, so I fall back on my store of favorites. This is one of them–Come Thou Almighty King, sung by the Sanctuary Choir at First Methodist Church, Houston.

  1. I haven’t heard that hymn in years. It was probably back in my youth, when I attended my parents Lutheran Church. I did like it then, one of the few I was fond of, that we sang from the Lutheran Hymnal. And I like it now. I am going to put it in the song book I made for our devotions, and teach it to those who gather with us.
