Nope, nothin’ wrong here! Glorify it, baby!
(Thanks to Susan for the nooze tip)
Here’s your ticket to ride! A degree in Queer Fat Studies! Oh, the doors it’ll open for you!
Unless you die from the effects of morbid obesity.
A prominent Queer Fat Studies professor in New Zealand, who described herself as a “fatlicious feminist,” has died at 42 (https://miamistandard.news/2022/03/26/new-zealand-massey-universitys-queer-fat-studies-lecturer-and-fatlicious-feminist-dies-suddenly-in-her-sleep-at-42/). Her mission in life, as she described it, was “Tearing down white supremacy–” is it necessary to point out that she herself was white?–“with my fat fingers.” Oh–and “glorifying obesity.”
Well, why not? Our colleges and looniversities, our nooze media, our public school teachers’ unions, they devote every day to glorifying aberrant, self-destructive behaviors. Glorify transgender! The only thing they don’t “affirm and celebrate” is smoking. Give them time, they’ll get to it.
God’s wisdom says, “All they that hate me love death” (Proverbs 8:36). Was any truer word ever spoken?
I had sent a song request yesterday, but it apparently got lost in the shuffle, so I’ll resend it in case you need another one. Through It All, and there are several versions on youtube.
As for the article and the horrid picture, wow, that is pathetic. I have seen a few that bad right here in this area, one was a man who looked like he was only in his 30’s at the local clinic. Imagine the load you would have to carry around.
Oh, sorry! Now I remember getting that address, and somehow it just slipped through the cracks. My memory isn’t sinking many putts lately. I’ll save that song for tomorrow.
That is exactly what is happening; these people are glorifying something that places their health at risk, in effect, they love death.
And we’re gonna have to live in the mess these people make of our civilization.
Sadly so. However, as this instance so aptly illustrates, they can’t escape the consequences of their own actions. In the end, justice will prevail, but in the meantime, it could get ugly.
I think it already has.
