It’s the little things that beat you down. The weather’s dark and dreary, I’m running late, and all sorts of equipment is failing me–blood pressure monitor, Patty’s car, toilet. All at once.
So I pray this hymn blesses me, and all of you who hear it: Light of the World, by Charles Wesley, performed by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band.
I certainly need it, HIM, that is. Weather here is horrible with very high winds for days on end, heavy rain bringing flooding, dark skies constantly and not fit for man or beast outside.
Plus my heel spur is just killing me. Let’s pray for each other.
