No hymn requests yet, and hardly anybody here, so I’ll fall back on one of my favorites–Jesus Saves, sung at the 2012 Synod of the United Reformed Church. That’s the Hudson River in the background.
You’ll let me know, won’t you, if I play my favorite hymns too often. I do try to carry out every request I get.
I have been up since 4:30 AM, but had things I had to do, so although my request has been in my mind all morning, I am just getting around. It is: I Asked the Lord. There are two wonderful versions I am aware of, and they are by Carroll Roberson and even Gordon Macrae.
Let me take a long-delayed shampoo first… (seem to be running late for everything!)
Great song. How about “Praise, my soul, the King of Heaven”?
Nothing could be more appropriate, just now. You’ll soon see why!
