Smile when you say that!
This from the Pope who brought a “Pachamama” pagan idol into the Vatican.
Oh, that’s okay! Go along to get along, dontcha know. But there’s no getting along with “fundamentalists”!
Sometimes I despair of church government. I mean, who does it right anymore? Where’s the church whose whole focus is on God’s Word, and living it out? And then you’ve got assorted “Clergy for Choice” cheerleading for abortion, etc., etc.
And this guy worries about “fundamentalism”? C’mon–does he even know any fuindamentalists?
This Pope is a scourge and disgrace … to Catholics.
I wish I could ask my Aunt Betty about this–a very wise woman, knew history inside-out, and a teaching nun. But the Lord took her home before this bozo came along.
With few exceptions, the world is being run by the worst leaders possible.
I see that as a reminder from God that we’d better clean up our act, toot-sweet.
Jesus said: “I am the way, and the truth, and the life”. Christ is what God gave us, as a savior, and while we should gather with fellow believers, our salvation is through Christ, and not through any human affiliation.
The Bible is the information source God provided. There are obvious symbolic writings, such as Revelation which declares itself to be symbolic. But, for the most part, the Bible can be taken at its word. It is not meant to predict the details of every future event, but does give us a glimpse into what God will do, as part of the plan for redemption, and for restoring all things to the way He intended.
The Bible does not tell me to harm others. It encourages to seek peaceful relationships with others. If the pope sees a threat in believing in the Bible, that says more about him, than it does for people whom choose to stick close to the word of God.
When this current pope referred to Donald Trump as a Hitler I knew I was through with him. Now he seems to be for abortion, LGBT, and worldwide socialism.
Sometimes I wonder what church he thinks he’s the pope of.
