Britons should get down on their hands and knees and thank God for Winston Churchill; but of course they don’t. He’s from the past, and everything that existed before today’s Social Justice Warriors came along is evil and worthless.

Without Churchill, the landscape would have been sufficiently different to the point that none of us would be here. Someone would be here, but the social structures which brought our families together might well have never fallen into place as they did, without Churchill’s contribution. The growth and prosperity after WW II would not have happened as it did, and this world would have been a very dark place, with billions living in despair.
My greatest exposure to WW II history has come in my adult years. Fascination with the early space program led to a study of the Cold War, which inevitably led to a study of WW II, and that leads back to the world shaking events of WW I, and WW I shaped our world. Churchill lived WW I, and could foresee what was on the horizon, as the buildup to WW II was first beginning. He was thought a fool, and Chamberlin sought to appease. We all know how well that treaty worked.
Our world is far from perfect, but things could be much worse. Embracing tyranny will not solve the problems.
“Embracing tyranny” is exactly what the Wokies are bent on doing.
