If there was ever a historic photo, this was it. So Facebook censored it (“You never saw it, peasants!”)

When I was a boy, Americans used to make fun of the Soviet Union for blatantly telling lies about history and erasing historical episodes deemed unflattering to the Party.

Well, get a load of Facebook! You know that now-world-famous photo of Donald Trump raising his fist after an assassin almost killed him? Holy moly, Facebook censored it (https://www.breitbart.com/tech/2024/07/30/facebook-censors-iconic-trump-image-as-altered-image-then-admits-error/).

Later–hmm, we wonder why–they admitted they’d made “a mistake.” Then they stopped censoring the picture which, probably, almost everybody in the world had seen.

“A mistake” is something like misplacing your car keys. It’s not pretending Something Really Big never happened. Nor is it historical amnesia.

I hope we’ve learned never to expect truth from Democrats.

We keep asking the question, but we still don’t have an answer: Who was Joseph’s Pharaoh?

Who Was Joseph’s Pharaoh?

Bear in mind that the art of history, as we know it, was not known in ancient Egypt. They specialized in rubbing out names and incidents that those in power chose to forget. We still do that, don’t we?

We would like to know the name of the pharaoh who appointed Joseph his prime minister. God has not decided that we need to know.

The End of the U.S.S. Constitution

The secretary of the U.S. Navy’s Office of Racial Justice, Capt. Horace Poohbah, has announced plans to decommission and scrap “Old Ironsides,” the U.S.S. Constitution, the oldest commissioned ship in the Navy.

“Like the Constitution itself,” said Poohbah, “this here ship is just a relic of a time when slavery was practiced in America and we don’t want to remember those times, do we? This ship is good for nothing, it can’t fight modern naval vessals, it don’t even have a engine–all it does is glamorize America’s disgusting history. It’s high time it went to the scrap heap!”

Poohbah said he was not “fully in on” plans to repeal and scrap the Constitution itself, replacing it with a “more modern” design for government, courtesy of China. “Next time I play slapjack with Old Joe, I’ll ask him about it. Heck, we been tryin’ to ditch that Constitution for years! But first the ship–we can do that–and then the document.”

The Constitution’s berth in Boston harbor will be taken by the U.S.S. Drag Queen, a destroyer. “It’ll destroy a lot of things,” predicted Poohbah.

Look at this: six years and more we’ve spent, canceling out our freedom, rebelling against plain truth, shaming ourselves in the eyes of our posterity–if we even get to have a posterity–and all for the sake of pushing and promoting the inane and totally false assertion that you can change your sex.

So they blot dissenting voices not just out of the social media, but even out of history. Even out of something as trivial as sports history.

Well, here we are again, letting wokies walk all over us and shove their America-hating garbage culture down our throats. Why do we let them do it?

As of the end of this baseball season (and who’s paying attention to it?), there will be no more Cleveland Indians. They will be renamed “the Guardians.” As in Manchester Guardian, a far-left noozepaper.

And now it’s catching on all throughout professional sports. Eager to outdo Cleveland, the Cincinnati Reds will be renamed the Cincinnati Birthing Units. It was going to be Cincinnati Parents, but a commissar rejected that as “not inclusive enough.”

Said club president Roscoe Ringworm, “The American people are only a nation of toddlers at best. They need us to take care of them–and that’s what Birthing Units do.”

Not to be outdone by teams in Ohio, the San Francisco Giants have announced plans to change their name to the San Francisco Things. The Giants’ All-Star utility infielder, Greg Pfart, explained, “‘Things’ can mean anything! It doesn’t get more inclusive than that!”

Ah–but it does, according to the team long known as the New York Yankees but about to be renamed “the Nothings.” Said General Manager Ike Schmendrick, “The word ‘Nothing,’ by excluding everything, automatically includes everything!” Mr. Schmendrick went to college once and never got over it.

Do you ever get the impression that Far Left Crazy just wants everyone to disappear?

So we have the Diversity mob stamping out every trace of diversity, and the Pro-Choice crowd taking away everybody’s choices–and alleged “polls” that say yeah, you bet, this is how America wants to live!

As mobs of out-of-control idiots tear down our country, we don’t hear a peep out of [trumpet fanfare] The Republican Leadership in Congress, do we? But one could ask questions all day without getting any answers.

What Is God About to Do?

If we don’t take care of this mess that’s being made of our country, God will: one way or another. To Him alone belongs the sovereign ownership of history. He may just decide to discard America as just another stop along the way; or He may decide to save us, in spite of our sins.
