Splish, Splash!

Here’s a young moose frolicking in a lake. I’ve never seen a moose frolicking before. He doesn’t seem to mind that the beach is full of people watching him. Well, if he doesn’t mind, why should we?

  1. I don’t want to spoil this nice video, however…

It’s nice to watch moose or any animal frolicking or just kicking up its heels. Nevertheless, many are lulled into thinking all wild animals, big and small, are just harmless critters. There was a story just today, about a pink dolphin that almost bit a woman’s foot off, who was just minding her own business while taking a swim.

This is why, at Yellowstone National Park and other parks, there are signs which warn people to give wild animals space, do not get too close. Many foolish people have gotten too close, to take that perfect selfie picture, sometimes with deadly consequences. Thus, when I saw that little girl and young boys so close to that romping beast, I was a bit concerned.
