They spend most of their time hanging upside-down in trees; but every now and then they have to crawl cross-country. Don’t worry: these sloths live in a sanctuary, they’re safe on the ground. But are the humans? Could you outrun a sloth?

I would let him catch me, too!!
You know your mother is crazy about baby sloths…
I watched this video at the 2.0 setting, and the sloth was still slow (but kinda cute). This reminded me of the 50’s and 60’s monster movies staring the Mummy. How in the world, would something moving that slow, and dragging one leg, catch anyone?
Usually they fall down as they try to run away. But I, too, have wondered how the mummy ever catches anybody.
I am not built for running so the sloth can run faster than me.
How well can you make your way through the treetops?
