Requested by Thewhiterabbit–and it wasn’t easy to find, but here it is: What Is the World to Me? The video doesn’t tell us much; but you can make out the individual voices of whoever’s singing it. Anyhow, a nice Lutheran hymn.

The lyrics are great – so glad they are featured in the video. He who makes himself a friend of the world makes himself the enemy of God.
I had to check my Lutheran Hymnal, and sure enough, it’s hymn 430, in my copyright 1941 hymnal. I still have it, and my Luther’s small Catechism from when I took Catechism classes. It’s a nice hymn. And with that organ playing as accompaniment, it reminds me of long long ago, of Sunday mornings, as a child in church with my family.
