Yeah, they’ve got tons of Gay Rights in Muslim Countries!
Seven years after I posted this, Far Left Crazy in America is head-over-heels in love with radical Islam, rooting for Hamas to wipe out Israel.
Which is really perverse and strange, when you think of it.
In Islamic countries people are frequently put to death for all manner of “abominations,” including (but not limited to) homosexual practice, transgenderism, and having a religion that’s not allowed. They’ll pitch you off the top of a skyscraper, or string you up to a lamp-post.
And yet we see the signs and banners: “Queer for Palestine,” “Gays for Gaza,” etc. This much ignorance is truly awe-inspiring. If only we could find some use for it…
The gargantuan amount of ignorance is mind boggling to say the least. I know, from what I have read, that a form of child abuse exists in muslim societies, but on the other hand, homosexuality is condemned by some of the same people. Lying is fully permissible in this “religion” and is fully practiced, so it is foolish to believe anything that is promoted by these satanically deceived people. I would advise anyone anywhere who is involved in the practice of “gay” (what a misnomer) to stay away from these people unless you are ready to be murdered.
The Woke left have the world divided into two groups: the oppressor (capitalists, as they define it) and the oppressed (themselves).
This is completely in line with Islam’s view of perpetual victimhood, where the Koran teaches that none are more persecuted than Muslims, and that this persecution (as they define it) is the worst thing ever. They are then commanded to retaliate. Murder, torture and rape are perfectly acceptable, because their ‘oppressors’ deserve it.
Both sides see themselves as perpetual victims of oppression. Therefore, anything they do is justified, and their targets are required to just let themselves be attacked and never defend themselves, because they are always the oppressors.
Then, when Muslims in Western countries speak out against their woke agenda, like gay porn in schools and transing the kids, the leftists are in shock. In their minds, Muslims are supposed to be on their side, because they are perpetual victims. They cannot fathom that, according to Islam, these leftists are persecutors and must be humiliated, subjugated, or killed.
The Woke left are in for a nasty surprise.
I’m hoping that the Democrat Party will destroy itself, feuding internally for and against Hamas.
I would venture that most of these people have never actually spoken to a believing Muslim. I went to school with a practicing Muslim, years ago, and while we got along with one another, he was not particularly open to any ideas which conflicted with his beliefs. Ok, I know that in order for I to have freedom of religion, I have to grant that to everyone else, and I respected his right to believe as he saw fit, but I also knew that he was not going to accept other beliefs, when practiced by others. This is a person with whom I ate lunch frequently, but when it came to religious matters, he was not even slightly flexible.
None of this is intended as a screed against Islam, but merely is presented to demonstrate that if one were to travel to an Islamic nation, they should understand that they will be expected to comply with the local rules and customs. These are not negotiable, and it’s unwise to be out of compliance.
As I stated earlier, I mean no insult to the belief’s of others, and strongly feel that in order for my beliefs to have meaning, I have to give others the freedom to practice their own beliefs. Just realize that this isn’t a two way street.
Twice in my life, I’ve turned down the opportunity to work in such places. I was invited to work in Saudi Arabia, just in time to have been on the receiving end of Scud missiles, during the 1991 Gulf War. More recently, I had the opportunity to work in Afghanistan, just in time to have been left on my own, to find my own way home, when the U.S. suddenly withdrew. Obviously, I am very glad that I turned down both of these opportunities, in spite of the fact that both would have been quite lucrative.
We, who live where there is freedom of religion, are blessed. One aspect of this is that our freedom applies evenly, and people in the Free World are also free to choose not to live lives of godly devotion. Sadly, some people use this freedom in ways that are not necessarily beneficial, to themselves. If they feel that they are oppressed in the US, they will experience a very rude awakening in some of these other places.
You had two close calls. Getting stranded in Afghanistan–I’m glad you missed out on that experience.
If Christians stormed the White House fence, almost tearing it down, that is all he MSM would talk about. The Pro-Palestine protesters did do this and not a peep about it from them.
Gee, now I wonder how that could have happened…
