Erlene didn’t have to ask very hard to get this–What a Friend We Have in Jesus, sung by Doc Watson: certainly one of my favorite videos. This hymn stirred my soul when I was ten years old in Sunday school. It still does.

Yes, this one brings me right to the brink of tears, especially done by this artist.
However many times he must have sung this hymn, it still brings Doc Watson close to tears–and me, too.
