Me too. Years ago, when I worked for an optical shop, I met a woman (not face to face at first). She was in a care facility and we spoke on the phone. She needed a pair of glasses but couldn’t get out to go order them. I visited her in the facility and she had a terrible time just getting up from bed to go to the bathroom a few feet away, so she would start singing this and it seemed to help her get up.
I have a doctor app’t in a few minutes, so will have to try to get on computer when I get back- whenever that may be. My son is taking me to the clinic or I couldn’t get there.
Please, Erlene, take good care of yourself–what would we do without you?
I’m doing the best I can, but can only do so much. You would do just fine without me.
I’m back from the clinic app’t and the doc said she had several patients 10 to 20 years
younger than I, and I was in better shape than most of them. hmmm, go figure. I feel
so ratty most of the time, I can’t imagine what it would be like to be in their shoes.
I didn’t mean it as a rebuke. You are a beloved member of our little blog community.
You are much loved here, Erlene.
Thank you, I appreciate your remarks. I love being with you all.
