Really–is this an ongoing scientific experiment, authorized by our beloved Leaders, to see how much abuse our republic can take before it collapses altogether?

George Washington had deserters hung or shot. He and his fellow officers like Alex Hamilton did not put up with drunkenness or insubordination. Soldiers would be whipped for using profane language.
