This could not be done, although it was certainly attempted, while thousands of eyewitnesses to Jesus’ ministry, His miracles, and His Resurrection still lived. But some hundred years later, it turned into a virtual industry which continues to this day.
How could so much effort, by so many people, over so long a time… fail?
Quite simply, because the Gospel, and the eyewitness accounts, are true.
This truth has been under siege for going on two thousand years–and they still can’t stuff it back into the box.
Onward to the Resurrection!
That is interesting. So many things happening, some understandable, some totally over the top. I just pray for all of the Lord’s people to come into line with HIS will, and forget the junk that goes on that is such a waste of time– and time is precious now. We have an enemy who spares no time since time is of no importance to him, except that he create all the chaos in the lives of God’s children. We have to try to stay on our toes and keep doing our best to serve HIM.
The Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are a child of God – no stopping something like that. We have an anointing from the Holy One who teaches us all things – plus we have the Holy Bible.
All very true. When we deviate beyond scripture, then trouble always follows.
