We do have to be careful about using “Bible movies” as a source of doctrine. But in this scene from The Robe, Victor Mature and Richard Burton captured an emotional impact that certainly should be part of the experience.
It’s not a thing we should ever take for granted.
If we only knew how much our Lord suffered on our behalf, it would certainly change our perspective.
