Ai-ya! Another week of nooze stretches out in front of me. Harvest-time seems far away.
Tennessee Ernie Ford sings Bringing in the Sheaves, an old Sunday school favorite. I knew the hymn by heart before I know what “sheaves” were.

This is a good one. The sheaves were fulfilled when the Lord rose from the tomb and raised a number of other righteous dead, thus forming a sheaf. A bigger sheaf will be raised later.
I was expecting a Burl Ives version. 🙂 Latin and South America are having gigantic revival meetings, we just don’t hear about it. There is said to be over 10 million house churches in Iran, and more Christians in China than America. The group Open Doors keeps track of these categories.
I didn’t know there was a Burl ives version.
Just in case you need a suggestion for tomorrow: In His Time– there are several versions
to choose from on youtube.
Thanks, Erlene.
Patty asked me if you are getting supplemental oxygen, like she is. And that’s as far as I dare go with any kind of medical thingy.
Tell Patty that I am not getting the oxygen at this time. Most days, mine is perfectly OK. I have a friend who has been on the oxygen tank for over a year, but so far, I’m OK almost
every day.
OK, you’re okay.
