This (God help us!) is Duke Medical School’s idea of a medical doctor’s education.
This crops up all the time, in all sorts of places: white liberal women in positions of power and influence using their oomph to promote racial grievance claptrap… always on behalf of “People Of Color” (POCs), who evidently can’t promote themselves.
Today’s example: Duke Medical School (oh, crikey! These graduates are gonna operate on people?), where the dean asserts that coming to class on time is… well, we know what she’s going to say: it’s “white supremacy culture.”
What the heck–so you stroll into class when it’s halfway over, what’s the big deal? They can just start the lesson all over again so you don’t miss anything. Nor does it matter how you talk, how you dress, or whether you ever develop even a nodding acquaintance with the subject matter: POCs can do no wrong.
The dean sez it’s “to catalyze anti-racist practice through education,” blah-blah-blah. You will forgive me if I don’t bother to quote her at length. This is what a college education looks like today. I tremble for a future inhabited by young doctors trained by brain-dead liberals.
When will we be forced to say “Don’t trust any doctor under fifty?”
I already have the feeling that some of these younger doctors are not made of the same stuff as the doctors of yore. I’m sure that there are people staying up nights, trying to make things even worse than they already are.
At our City Elders meeting last night we had a 40-year-old tell her experience of going back to the university in Fayetteville, AR for a couple of classes to finish up on a degree. She was forced to take a Sociology class that was pure CRT all the way. First day in class everyone had to state their preferred pronoun. She refused and became a thorn in the leftist prof. for the rest of the course. The prof. was from Moldova and said her country had not been under communism but under a dictatorship. She now runs her classes like a dictator. Why is this being allowed?
We need a lot fewer colleges.
