This was the first “modern” hymn I fell in love with, when I heard it on our dear old Christian radio station which is now no more.

I was privileged to see Amy Grant perform this song in person when it first came out and she was still in her teens. She just played the piano, sang songs, and talked about the love of Jesus between singing them.
