I haven’t posted this hymn in a long time, too long: He Who Would Valiant Be. It’s a 1906 modification, by Percy Dreemer in 1906, of John Bunyan’s 17th century hymn, To Be a Pilgrim. It never fails to stir my spirit.

A short one but a good one. Courage is a vital component of the Christian character and how we need it in this warfare against an antichrist world. Jesus won the victory on the cross and by His resurrection and we are to walk in that victory every day and not be discouraged. As James wrote we are to count if all joy when we encounter tribulations.
Well said, kimosabe.
