Requested by Susan: our president’s son, Barron Trump, sings Imagined.
Please don’t confuse it with that atheist tripe John Lennon and his Far Left Stupid acolytes used to spout. This is a worship song grounded on the Bible.

Amazing. I saw him singing on TV just a few days ago, but there was so much noise all around, that I could not really hear his singing. Thanks for posting this.
Who knew he could sing like that? I wonder what his father sounds like, when he sings.
When I first read this, I was afraid that you meant the John Lennon song, which I can’t stand listening to. I like this song much better. He’s doing a pretty good job of singing it. Creating a vocal worthy of being recorded is an accomplishment, in and of itself. Nice work.
In the back of my mind is the nagging thought that this could be an AI creation. But if Erlene saw him singing on TV that’s good enough for me. President Trump’s son singing about Jesus is exhilarating – a good voice, nice tune, and amazing lyrics – what could go wrong?
I had wondered the same thing. He was definitely lip synching, but that is to be expected. When recording a vocal track, a condenser mic’ is usually used, and there is a pop filter that would obscure the face of the singer from a head on shot. Also, and this is what leads me to believe the video is authentic, his lip synching was imperfect; the movement of his lips occasionally strayed from the timing of the sound. Easy to do accidentally, but almost impossibly difficult to fake.
I’m sure we’ll soon learn whether this is authentic or not. I hope that is is authentic. Ultimately, I don’t know what the spiritual status of the Trump family is. I have heard Donald Trump refer to God, and suspect that he at least believes in a Creator, but I only know what I’ve seen in interviews, etc. That having been said, I believe that our God will make Himself known when the Last Days events come to pass. (Not setting any dates here.) In Ezekiel, it repeatedly tells us that the nations will have to know the One True God. Perhaps this is shaping up, before our eyes.
I was wondering how they got solo singers to sound like two or three of the same person at once.
After his very close brush with death, I believe Trump is sincere. Like, if that doesn’t do it for you, what will?
It would be easy to get that effect. Just record several takes of the vocal part on separate tracks, and then mix them. There would be just enough variation between takes to get an ensemble sound. It would also be possible to do that with post-production effects, and I suspect that is what we are hearing on this recording. DSP, Digital Signal Processing can pull this off without breaking a sweat. If this was professionally recorded, using Pro Tools or some similar digital recording software, this would be simple to produce.
I like the performance. It’s natural and comes across as sincere. When you record a lead vocal, typically, the instrumental part of the track is already recorded, and you listen to the playback of it, through headphones, and sing along with the recording. He has a good voice with good support. Support is learned and is a big part of making a vocal performance sound good. At least in this song, he’s not singing particularly loud, but he’s delivering and solid, even performance.
This is standard procedure in multitrack recordings, and the proliferation of tracks made possible by digital recording equipment makes the number of takes and the number of tracks all but unlimited. The last time I recorded a vocal track, I think I did five takes before I was satisfied with one, but it’s also possible to stitch several takes together, so if the first eight measures of take #1 is perfect, and the second eight measures of take #3 was perfect, you can create another track stringing those together, and end up making one perfect take from several imperfect takes.
Also, it’s easy to “punch in” just a couple of notes to fix a mistake, in the middle of an otherwise perfect take. Once again, this is nothing new, and even the pros do this, all the time.
I don’t hear a lot of pitch correction on this track, and that in itself is remarkable. There is software which can correct pitch problems, and even perfect the timing, but my impression is that this recording is not that processed. I, for one, dislike pitch correction, and would rather hear a natural track, even if there are minor imperfections. That’s why a good recording might require several takes before a perfect one happens. So while I definitely hear some post-prod’ processing, it doesn’t sound over processed.
It is my observation that Donald Trump is a much humbler, more restrained man, than he was eight years ago. I believe that his intentions have always been good, but he seems to have learned how to express himself more effectively, this time around.
It’s definitely AI/Deep fake. We’ve gotten to the point where seeing is not believing. They can duplicate someone’s voice and likeness to where it’s “almost” impossible to tell it isn’t them. I’ve only heard Baron talk once on video as an adult and it was very brief. He keeps a very low profile. -Watchman
I don’t know much about electronics. But I do know that a society based on radical and universal skepticism will not last too long.
