The doctors want me back next week so they can knock me out and “shave” my prostate gland (an I am already in over my head–what am I talking about?). If it works, the doctor explained yesterday, I won’t need the catheter anymore. I’ll be able to pee like a normal person.
It might not work, I am told, but there’s a pretty good chance it will.
Then at the end of the month, colon cancer surgery.
And someday fix the broken hip.
By then there might be more. God defend me.
Sounds a lot better than full on prostate surgery.
I have had prostate cancer twice and never heard of this procedure. I am praying the doctors have the wisdom of God in deciding what you need to return to normality.
That bit of fun is slated for next Friday.
