How do you amass a wallful of scientific credentials and still come off like a six-year-old claiming that he saw a giant and a unicorn playing jacks?

Does this world-famous genetics wallah not know that yes, you can breed animals that are closely related–a horse and a donkey, for instance–and get offspring that can’t reproduce. But a chimpanzee and a pig? No, that’s impossible. And as an “explanation” of how the human race came to be, it’s all wet.
If this is what we’re getting from our Science, then we need new science and new scientists who aren’t nincompoops. I wonder how had it is to find those.
If the geneticist knew his business, he would know that is impossible. Only very similar species can produce hybrid offspring, and in most cases, those offspring are sterile. If, OTOH, this “leading geneticist” wants to believe that they themselves, individually, are half pig and half ape, that is their prerogative, but a bit of an insult to both apes and pigs. 🙂
Eugene McCarthy is not an educated man; he is an ignoramus. Which word comes right from the Latin ignoramus, literally, “we do not know.” Today, the word means fool or dunce. Folks like him are willingly ignorant. Education is the acquisition of true wisdom and true knowledge. Of which, in this case, he has acquired none.
In my book “Reindeer Don’t Fly: Exploring the Evidence-Lacking Realm of Evolutionary Philosophy,” I buried the idea of evolution. It’s dead. Nevertheless, people like this man, still dig up the rotting corpse, and attempt CPR, hoping to bring it back to life.
“Reindeer” has gotten good reviews. But its 17 chapters and 400 pages. I have written another book, not yet published, dealing with this rotting corpse, which has only 65 pages, and 8 short chapters. “Various scientists who champion evolution are highly trained individuals, many with a PhD or other esteemed credentials to their credit. These are people who have been educated at the finest universities and colleges. They are individuals who have spent many hours studying, researching, analyzing, and inquiring into their respective fields of interest and “expertise.” Due to such efforts, which comparatively few do, those diligent enough to complete their academic training are usually thought of as someone who is in the know, and has answers and evidence to back up statements and pronouncements made to the general public concerning the “facts’ dealing with evolution.
It’s true; those who receive a PhD in evolutionary biology or any similar branch of “science” have learned a huge amount of information, which they can easily recite to dazzle the less informed and ignorant. The information received, studied, and taught is the accumulation of decades of thought, data, and material. And there is an ever-growing, ever-expanding river of evolutionary indoctrination and propaganda which pours each year into the ocean of philosophy taught by the “science” departments of universities and colleges. Each year the mounds of data accumulated are disseminated among the faithful. The bulk of this data is printed in books, research papers, scientific journals, periodicals, reports, and newspaper articles. If all the information accumulated each year were printed in book form and stacked in a pile, it would make one immense mountain of piffle.
Assuredly, some will ask: “You want me to believe that all this accumulated information and data, which has taken years to assemble and collect is nothing more than nonsense, absurdity, and rubbish? That what they teach is a scientific-sounding delusion? That all these intelligent and “well-educated” men and women, some of which have dedicated their lives to this pursuit, has all been for naught?” The answer to these three questions is a resounding “Yes!” People who spout this stupidity (evolution) have not been educated, for they have not acquired true knowledge or wisdom. It makes no difference how much nonsense is learned, nor how long it took to accumulate that blather, nor how sure or confident they sound whenever sharing that drivel with anyone—it’s useless, worthless piffle.”

Not much I can add to that, Mike.
Origin of life studies are basically a study in wishful thinking. The breakthrough is always just over the horizon, out of sight, but they are sure they will find the proof that has so far evaded them. Of course, it always will evade them, because life comes from our Creator, and not from some series of accidents.
When Moses was to speak to Pharaoh, he was instructed to tell Pharaoh that he had been sent by “I Am”. I Am is a strong statement. Egypt had its gods, but I Am was God; the One True God. Pharaoh was being put on notice, he wasn’t up against the false gods of Egypt, but instead, was up against the Real Thing, the Supreme Creator.
The existence of a Creator changes everything. It makes the order of life something deliberate. It makes the order of everything deliberate. Most importantly, it makes deviation from that order a deliberate act of defiance. For some people, this is all but unthinkable, and they will strive to undermine evidence of creation by an Intelligent Designer. But God does exist, and He proved this to Pharaoh, probably the most powerful man on earth, at the time. That didn’t go well for Pharaoh, and those who deny God will not prevail, in the long run.
