Hey! Remember Common Core–the feds were going to take over the day-to-day management of all the nation’s public schools? Don’t look now, but this crapola is still alive and kicking… in 41 states!
President Donald Trump and Secretary of Education Linda McMahon have their work cut out for them, trying to undo the harm wrought by the last several decades of public education.
We can help ourselves, our families, and our country by pulling our children out of those schools.
Apparently, many parents either do not take the time to learn what is going on in the schools, or efforts are being expended to keep such information away from parents.
I wonder what the parental reaction would have been to such a scenario, back when I was in school. For the record, even when I was a student, we knew about sex, and while the scenario presented above probably would not have been presented in such stark terms. Yes, sex was a known subject, but the social boundaries were different, and most teachers did not seek to undermine the moral authority of parents.
If it had come to light that a teacher was pushing an agenda which contradicted the moral standards of the parents, there would have been some serious repercussions.
Oh, they’re trying to deceive parents, all right. I don’t know how they get away with it. They wouldn’t have, once upon a time.
A lot of strange brew coming out of the teachers’ colleges…
The parent’s wishes never even surface in the minds of some of these people.
