G’day, boys ‘n’ gulls. Byron the Quokka here, minus our weekly TV listings. Well, the Big Guy did mention that he’s as sick as he can be, just now. And I don’t like to take his place.
So it’s no TV listings, and no Joe Collidge, either. Too bad–I was all set to trot out my Tyrannosaurus rex imitation. Last time I did, a kangaroo fainted.
Anyhow, the poor guy barely got through the day today. I’d like to make it up to him somehow. Maybe tomorrow? If we can lure Violet Crepuscular into taking a day off.
Best wishes to you, Byron, down under. I also am down under with coughing fits – no fun. I sure could use one of your awesome TV shows and movies to watch about now.
So could I!
Oh, darn it, Byron, I want to see that T. Rex imitation too — and I promise I won’t faint. Well, maybe swoon a little, if only I could find a good swooning sofa.
And Lee, I’m glad to see you can still muster a bit of humor. All is not lost as long as we can tell jokes, right? I think that’s a NY/NJ thing. Anyway, several of the women in my Martha/Mary sewing circle at church have been praying for you, and they often ask me how you’re doing. So lots of prayers are going on for you. (And no, I don’t sew, but a couple of years ago, the circle expanded to include knitters, crocheters, and other crafters. I knit and crochet.)
Please thank them for me.
A Quokka can only do so much.
