All good today.

The Verizon man was here earlier and that seems to be squared away.  It has affected my phone in that it takes longer for the phone to connect when I dial out.  No big deal.

Well that was quite a load off my shoulders–I had been rather apprehensive (as usual).  I just have to make sure it is as good as my other plan was.  So far it seems just as fast.

Another great day weather-wise.

Tomorrow I am going to take some time to transfer more of my pictures to WordPress, so that I can have some other ones to add to my posts.

That being said, I will go and start my supper.

Have a good night, all.

See you tomorrow.

God bless everybody.

A DNA test saved this wolf dog’s life

Rescued dog takes blankets.

This dog wants those blankets!  He was a pretty friendly fellow as was his companion.  Lovely guys.

Immortality for Chowderheads REPRINT

From June 20, 2013

I noticed a headline last night on the Drudge Report: Google predicts, in 20 or 30 years, “We can upload your brain!”

Does this mean that, 1,500 years from now, John McCain and Chuck Schumer will still be in the Senate? That no lefty judge will ever again have to retire from the bench? That Mayor Bloomberg will still be banning things when the sun cools and swells into a red giant? [Note to those who take rhetorical flourishes literally: the use of this figure of speech in no way denotes my endorsement of this or any other evolutionary scenario.]

Or is this just another instance of chattering monkeys making grandiose plans for some broken-off tree branch that they found?

Yes–the unbelieving evil humanists are going to give us immortality. “Ye shall not surely die,” the serpent promised Eve (Genesis 3:4). So they ate the forbidden fruit and they died, and the Devil has been conning their descendants with the same false promise ever since.

They’ll upload on to a disc or something everything that’s in your brain, every thought, every memory, everything that makes you you. When the disc gets worn, they’ll just transfer “you” to another. And nothing will ever go wrong with the disc or the computer! And they will never get careless and mix “you” with a commercial for cornflakes  or an old episode of “Let’s Make a Deal.” And it will all go on forever.

You have the Serpent’s word on it.

This is farming God’s way.

This is the way it should be done,  The regenerative cycle.  When I was gardening it used to drive me crazy watching gardeners rake up leaves , etc., take them to the curb, then go to Home Depot and pay for a bag of what they had just thrown away (which God had given them, free.)

In the Garden

This just in–had to post

Now I am going to bed.   See you tomorrow.

I am going to bed

Very tired.  WordPress is acting up.

I am just too tired to deal with it right now.

Have a good night all.

See you tomorrow.

God bless everybody.

Mama dog and puppies rescued from freezing flood.

I find it amazing and wonderful that there are people willing to risk danger and pain in order to rescue animals.  They are doing God’s work.  They deserve all the praise we can give.

Not feeling too great today

I don’t know why, but I just don’t feel tip-top today.

Was tired and energy-free all day long.  I can’t blame it on the weather because it’s a lot better today than it had been.  Just really wiped out.  I can’t blame it on lack of sleep, because I slept well last night.

I did accomplish one thing that I had been putting off–clearing out the freezer.

I also think that some of the news is just so crappy, it’s sickening.  I do look at a lot of news, selecting things that are appropriate and interesting–but there is a lot of real garbage out there to wade through.  I’m sure I’ll feel better tomorrow.

That’s about it for now.

Have a good night, all.

See you tomorrow.

God bless everybody.
