Canada suing some Amish for not having a phone app. How ridiculous can it get?
This is a little long, but the bottom line is that several Amish families during Covid went back and forth across the Canada/US border, as they always did. They were supposed to have an “app” somehow for their crossings. An app? Amish people don’t even use land lines, let alone cell phones. I smell religious persecution here and it stinks badly.
These fines would be ruinous to that community.
Rescued dogs are often so willing to forgive and love.
The way these dogs forgive is amazing. As is their capacity for love.

We had a small flock of wild turkeys walk right down Main Street across from my apartment a few years ago. Everybody slowed down for them. It was quite a sight.
