‘Leaning on the Everlasting Arms’

I wanted to post this video again, before it disappears from YouTube (you know how it is)–Leaning on the Everlasting Arms, sung by the Gordon Quartet. Just four human voices: no studio, no amps, no microphones, no musical instruments. Just Jesus. Just faith. Just love.

‘In Christ Alone’

This may be the most frequently asked-for hymn on this site–In Christ Alone. (I am running soooo late!) Here we have it sung a capella by The NCrew. And the hymn show is open for your requests… should anybody venture in today.

Something Different: An Icelandic Hymn

An Icelandic rock band called Arstidir decided to sing an a capella hymn–in a railway station. This is how it turned out. And I guess we have to make an exception to the rule that rockers can’t sick, because this is beautiful.

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord!

By Request, ‘A Mighty Fortress’ (GLAD)

Requested by Joshua: A Mighty Fortress, performed a capella by GLAD. There were several video treatments available, but at least one, I feared, might not be comfortable to watch–a picture of a pier running out to sea, made to rock up and down, back and forth, I wonder whose idea that was. But we are here to listen to the hymn.
