‘All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name’

No requests from readers yet today, so I’m on my own. And I choose this one–

All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name, by Edward Perronet (1779), sung by the Blue Rock Mennonite Youth. We heard a lot of this hymn in Sunday school.

By Request, ‘Great Is Thy Faithfulness’

We have a hymn request this morning from “thewhiterabbit”–Great Is Thy Faithfulness, sung by the Blue Rock Mennonite Youth.

If you’re new here, we take hymn request as often as we get them. So if you’ve got a hymn you’d like to share, just let us know.

By Request, ‘Great Is Thy Faithfulness’

Requested by Erlene, this lovely hymn–Great Is Thy Faithfulness, sung by the Blue Rock Mennonite Youth–with some of God the Father’s most gorgeous background sets. If all He ever did was to create the beauty of the earth, we should love Him for that! But of course He has done so much more.

‘All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name’

This is a hymn that needs to be sung again and again, loudly–that the Lord might use His power, and save us: All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name. What name will the enemy invoke against it?

Come on, everybody–let’s have some hymn requests.

(Sung by Blue Rock Mennonite Youth)

By Request, ‘How Great Thou Art’

Requested by Erlene, How Great Thou Art, sung by Blue Rock Mennonite Youth. Background sets by God the Father.

Now this hymn will be in my head all day, but that’s a good thing. How often my mother and my aunts used to sing this as they went about their housework! Thank you, O God.

‘Great Is Thy Faithfulness’

“It is the Lord’s mercy we are not consumed,” said Jeremiah, once. He spoke truth: we wouldn’t last ten minutes without it.

We like to start our day with a hymn. This hymn, today–Great Is Thy Faithfulness, sung by the Blue Rock Mennonite Youth.

By Request, ‘Great Is Thy Faithfulness’

Here’s another hymn, this one requested by Thewhiterabbit: Great Is Thy Faithfulness, sung by the Blue Rock Mennonite Youth. Background sets by God the Father.

We’re open to all reader requests today. Don’t be shy.

‘All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name’

It’s been a while since I posted this glorious, gorgeous hymn–All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name, composed by Edward Perronet over 200 years ago, sung here by Blue Rock Mennonite Youth. Background sets by God the Father.

‘In Times Like These’

Posting Your Favorite Hymns, I get to hear a lot of hymns I’ve never heard before. This is one of them–In Times Like These, sung by Blue Rock Mennonite Youth.

I’m trying to fill a notebook page with your hymn requests, so don’t be shy!

‘He Could Have Called Ten Thousand Angels’

This hymn, sung by Blue Rock Mennonite Youth, retells the story of the Crucifixion–He Could Have Called Ten Thousand Angels. I find the older I get, the harder it is to contemplate the Crucifixion of Our Lord. What a world this is! that tramples down the holiest of all.
