Best-Ever Cat & Dog Video

I know, I know–I’ve posted this before. Today this wacky video is a birthday present from me to me. It’s one of my all-time favorites.

What I wouldn’t give to know what that dog was thinking! I think the cat thinks the dog is crazy.

A Helpful Cat

It looks like it’s started to rain outside, and the puppies want to come back in. Who will open the sliding glass door for them?

Why, the cat, of course. I guess he’s a role model. The pups could do worse.

Cats & Dogs & Drones

I’ve lost track of what drones cost, but I’m sure it’s more than I would ever want to pay for a cat or dog toy. How tragic it would be, if they just ignored the expensive drone you just bought!

Buffaloed By Kittens

A big, strong dog like this… and faced with four little kittens, he doesn’t know quite what to do. But you’ve got to hand it to him for gentleness. When I was a little boy, I was very afraid of my uncle’s German shepherd. It took me years to realize I didn’t have to be.

Classic Video: Cat Watches Dog Zoomies

I give up. I had a couple of nice videos, but every one of them went belly-up when I tried to post: “Video Not Available… Sucker!” Gettin’ that a lot lately.

And so, as I run out of time, we return with this classic favorite–cat, dog, stairs, and zoomies.

Mutual Admiration Society: Cats & Dogs

Dog won’t let you pet the cat. Can’t won’t let you pet the dog. And the dog certainly will not allow his cat to get into a scuffle with that feline riff-raff across the street.

Where did we ever get the idea that cats and dogs hate each other?

Hidden Humans

I used to play hide-and-seek with our family dog, Rags. He never got tired of it. Our cat Henry liked to hide on me and jump out and bite my ankle when I passed. Dogs and cats appreciate fun!

Are Cats Influencing Dogs?

Do cats influence dogs? I’m afraid we have to say yes.

Cats excel at packing themselves into tight places. This video shows some dogs trying to do it, too. They have a long way to go before they master this art.

Cat Walks Dog

Have you ever hired someone to walk your dog? Here’s a dog owner who doesn’t have to do that: he’s got a cat who does it for him.

(CNN admits this video is “Not News.” A tiny bit of honesty creeps in.)

‘Don’t Mess With My Cat’

Dog appoints himself the cat’s guardian–or vice versa–isn’t domestication wonderful? I mean, no way this happens in nature, uh-uh, forget about it. Will we ever figure out how to domesticate human beings?
