Merkel’s out to pasture, but her freedom-hunt continues…
Remember when there used to be a “Free World,” and West Germany was in it, and the Soviet Union loomed in the east, waiting for its chance to push its tanks out to the English Channel?
That threat is over–although assorted (ahem!) “leaders” are working to revive it. But one thing that’s never over is the open season on free speech.
Ah, Hate Speech laws! Germany, Britain, Canada, France, etc., etc.–that was the Free World, once upon a time.
But now it’s where you go if you’ve run out of patience with the First Amendment.
