Welcome Back, Linda!

On behalf of all our little blog community, welcome back, Linda!

We know you’re a long way from being out of the woods, medically–so keep those prayers coming, everybody. We need each other’s prayers. We all do.

Something seems to be happening here, something good, that I never thought of when I started this blog: just some guy in New Jersey trying to advertise his books. But now we have much more than that–and give God the glory for it, because He’s the one who’s doing it.

A Blogger’s Reward

If you read the comments made on this blog, you will have noticed that some of the readers have been led by the Holy Spirit into deep and fruitful conversations. You may have also noticed that I’ve been mostly staying out of those conversations.

That’s because they’re doing just fine without me, and I don’t want to distract them.

It humbles me that this little blog can serve as a venue for such fruitful interactions. Give God the glory for that! I had no idea He was ever going to use my work in such a way. I can only stand back and admire what He’s done–and keep on working.

He will always use us, if we let Him. And that is our reward.

Hymn, ‘To God Be the Glory’

Here’s another hymn I never heard before, another high-spirited rendition by the Church of God. That congregation can really sing!

So let’s start our Sunday giving glory to God, and letting Him hear our thanksgiving and praise. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world!

Remember, I’m taking suggestions for hymns to post on Sunday morning, so if there’s a hymn you’d like to see posted here, please let me know.
