Sorry I’m running so late–wanted to work on my book today, but along came the rain.
Requested by Erlene: Because He Lives, performed by Guy Penrod with the Gaither Vocal Band.
And now it’s time to play catch-up!

Requested by SlimJim: Then Came the Morning, sung by Guy Penrod.
Can we truly imagine what it was like for Christ’s disciples, between the crucifixion and His resurrection? How did they bear it? Must’ve been some dreadfully long hours for them.
This hymn request came in from Joshua late yesterday, so I saved it for this morning–Guy Penrod singing a medley of Rock of Ages and I Stand Amazed. I don’t like to use up all the hymn requests at once, in case I don’t get any the next day.
Before we go wading into nooze and politics (don’t forget your hazmat suit), we have another request for He Hideth My Soul, this one from Kenneth. Ken, the hymn shop’s open all the time! Sung here by Guy Penrod.
True, I just posted this hymn a few days ago. But Erlene has requested it twice; and when that happens–because it happens with me, too–I get to thinking God has a reason for wanting us to repeat a hymn, or a Bible reading, or whatever else might be knocking at our door. So here it is–It Is Well with My Soul, sung by Guy Penrod, David Phelps, and company.
From The Little Drummer Boy, Guy Penrod segues right into We Three Kings: requested by Jeremy. We’re getting our carol contest back on track!
