Requested by Susan, Here I Am, Lord, performed by the choir and orchestra of St. Lillian.
I can’t help thinking of Isaiah’s vision in Isaiah 6:8–“Here I am, Lord! Send me!”
You don’t have to be a prophet to be a servant of the Lord.

This is another hymn I hear often, played on the bells of St. Francis, across the street from me. Requested by Susan, Here I Am, Lord, by the choir and orchestra of St. Lillian.
Susan suggested this hymn–Here I Am, Lord, sung by the choir and everybody else at Hexham Abbey, England. This hymn is also known as I, the Lord of Sea and Sky. I hear it pretty often, played on the bells at St. Francis Church across the street.
Thanks to Carol in Florida for sending us this hymn.
The Lord of Sea and Sky, also known as Here I Am, Lord, was published in 1981 and quickly became a favorite in churches all over the world. Here we have it performed beautifully by the National Youth Choir of Scotland at Dunblane Cathedral.
