‘Beautiful Savior’

No hymn requests yet this morning; but here’s my wife’s favorite hymn–Beautiful Savior, sung by the Oasis Chorale. Background sets: the work of God the Father’s hands. In our church’s hymnal it was listed as “Crusaders’ Hymn.”

By Request, ‘Beautiful Savior’

Do you want to talk about COVID today, or praise God? Well, that was easy, wasn’t it?

Requested by Erlene, Beautiful Savior, sung by the Oasis Chorale; background sets by God the Father. Entered into our hymn contest.

Which anyone can do, by the way–just request a hymn.

‘Beautiful Savior’

This hymn is also well-known as Fairest Lord Jesus. A capella singing by the Oasis Chorale. Background sets by God the Father, maker of heaven and earth.

‘Beautiful Savior’

Patty is going to the doctor today. Persuaded by Linda, the last time they talked, she’s finally going. That’ll be this afternoon. Please pray for us.

This is one of her favorite hymns, Beautiful Savior. Sung by the Oasis Chorale.

‘Fairest Lord Jesus’

It’s raining gently here today, on and off, and this is the hymn that came to mind today–Fairest Lord Jesus/Beautiful Savior. I grew up thinking it was a crusaders’ hymn, because that’s what it said in our church’s hymnal; but in fact it was published in 1873.

This version is by the Oasis Chorale.

‘Fairest Lord Jesus’

If this hymn doesn’t stir your soul, check to see if you can fog a mirror–Fairest Lord Jesus, sung by the Oasis Chorale.

By His stripes we are healed, by His righteousness we are covered, by His name we are saved.
