… he’d’ve been this guy!
Hi, everybody, Mr. Nature here. Susan found this critter for us, the peacock spider from Australia. And what he’s doing is a courtship display. How it works out for him will be revealed at the end of the video.
These are jumping spiders, as you can tell by the large eyes: and there’d be no point to all that color if the female spider couldn’t appreciate it. They’re really quite small, although under certain circumstances the males grow to the size of a grizzly bear and pose a threat to public safety.
(Did I getcha with that last sentence?)
It looks like it worked out for him. That’s quite a display. I think Travolta must have copied some of his moves from this guy.
Incredible! Great moves, and he’s so adorable, too! This little guy has it all! 🙂
And my granddaughter just saw him dancing and thinks he’s ‘so cute!’ 🙂
That’s what I call a high-tech spider. I wonder how evolutionists tell lies about how it developed over millions of years. Did its DNA mutate so he likes to dance?
It’s ancestors were born in a theater where Saturday Night Fever was playing. 🙂
Now, now… All you need is an infinite number of positive mutations and an infinite amount of time… and the junk in the junkyard is just bound to turn into a Maserati someday.
That’s been my transportation strategy for years. I end up hitching a lot of rides.
