Question: How did the country which squanders more money on “education” than any civilization in all of history wind up with heaven knows how many people believing in past lives?

  1. As Chesterton said, when people stop believing in God, it’s not that they now believe in nothing but that they’ll believe in anything. I’ve actually found that most newly irreligious people tend to be very superstitious.

    1. Well stated. Without the anchor of the Creator as a source of truth, durned near anything can be sold.
