Requested by Phoebe, a gentle, soothing carol–Joseph Dearest, Joseph Mine, sung by the Dale Warland Singers.
I can’t help noticing that most of the entries in our carol contest are coming from the same few readers. This is one of those patterns that I’ve come to think of as a dynamic of history.
Some of you who haven’t entered yet–come aboard, and let’s have Christmas!
This is nice, and one I have never heard before.
This version is somewhat slower than other versions I’ve heard, but it’s very pleasant.
I’d never heard it before, so I didn’t know what it’s supposed to sound like.
That’s a first for me. I like it!
Me, too.
Have you entered a carol yet, Michele? Come on, everybody!
I request Feliz Navidad. Also, O Holy Night sung by The Priests. Thanks!
First thing tomorrow (better chance of winning)!
Thanks, Phoebe, had never heard this beautify hymn before. I would like to request “Christmas Shoes.”
We’ll have that tomorrow, too.
