I am so late today! But I can’t help it. By the time the weekend comes around, I’m shot.
John Bunyan’s hymn, He Who Would Valiant Be–also known as To Be a Pilgrim–was inspired by a dream he had after reading Hebrews 11.
I do wish I could have a seat on this train! The North York Moors Railway wends its leisurely way through Goathland, Yorkshire.
I wonder if there’s a train that takes us to Heaven.
Being late on the weekend is perfectly acceptable. It is the Sabbath today, a day of rest. I plan to do some of that myself. Since there is very little that is uplifting, it is a good day to shut out the world.
I do want to keep my blog going, though. It has a deep hole to climb out of.
I’m pretty late myself — and rushed. I just now got done with all my chores, and in a half hour I have to start putting up a sauce for dinner. Meanwhile, I’ve fallen way behind on the blogs I usually read and respond to. But yours comes first, Lee! Where else can I find quokkas, hymns, Norbert, cat videos, and … Joe Collidge and Oy, Rodney? 🙂
Actually, not all of the day was chores. An hour was collapsing on the couch and falling asleep after cleaning the house. Oh, well. At least it was a clean couch in a clean house.
And now it’s time to clean the litter boxes…
Yes, there is – a train of angels!!
Love your songs; can I request In Christ Alone?
We’ll have it today.
Thanks Lee
