Born without the capacity to feel shame

You almost have to admire Andrew Cuomo’s gall. He kills off thousands of nursing home patients, has an army of women claiming that he sexually harassed them–and still he comes out with a book telling other people what to do and how to do it.

Almost, but not quite.

Cuomo’s ‘Leadership Lessons’

Andrew’s father, Gov. Mario Cuomo, invented the all-purpose Democrat hypocrisy: “I’m personally opposed to abortion ” [like anyone should care!] “but as a public official, I’ll push it and promote it and support it!”

And we put people like this in positions of authority. You’ve got to wonder whart’s wrong with American voters.

  1. Like all hypocritical politicians (but I repeat myself0, Mario Cuomo had no problem imposing his “personal opposition” on others when as Governor he kept vetoing all the pro-death-penalty bills his constituents and their legislatures kept sending to him.

    1. That should have been “myself)” not “myselfo.” Arghh. Typing too fast. Ptui.

    2. Sigh, wishful thinking. And now try to guess which of your two replies I’m replying to. (“Both of the above” is one of the options.)

  2. The question is “What is wrong with New York voters?” In Arkansas we have Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Leslie Rutledge running for Governor – both are knock-out Christian candidates. Maybe New York will have an Awakening and vote in Andrew Giuliani.

    1. I’ve lived in NJ all my life, and am mystified by my state’s and NY’s apparent love affair with the Democrat Party. I wonder if these states need to be exorcised.

  3. When I was living in New York (1941-70), even the Republicans were Democrats — e.g., Mayor Lindsay, Senator Javits, etc. They had “R” after their names, but their actions were Democrat, and many Democrats were happy to vote for them.

    1. One of them was a former Dem chairman, still practicing extortion, still doing the perp walk, in his 80s. I knew him. Patty always said he was bad nooze.
