I don’t know how they came up with the name Boney M but I sure like the sound they make. Great lyrics also!
I think (I could be wrong) they named it for Det. Inspector Napoleon Bonaparte, “Bony” to his friends–star of a great series of mystery novels by Arthur Upfield.
The song came from Psalm 19 and 135 in the Hebrew Bible. Thank you Lee.
