Before I go dumpster-diving into any nooze today, I’d like to share with you a movie line that’s probably my all-time favorite–even more than “You’re gonna need a bigger boat.” This is from Hercules (1958), starring the incomparable Steve Reeves.
Welcomed back aboard ship by his friends, Hercules discovers that an enchantress has beguiled him for 20 days and made him late for a very important mission. And Hercules exclaims:
“I’ve been tricked by the gods!”
No one ever said it better.
I love these kind of blogs – the nooose is such a downer, unless it is about MAGA people doing the Lord’s work in government. How about that Rand Paul and that Ted Cruz!
Rand Paul is on a hot streak–God protect him.
I have thought about that every time I have heard Rand or Cruz. They seem to be sticking their necks out pretty far.
I pray daily that the evil schemes being hatched by evil persons will be exposed.
Exposed and utterly confounded!
It’s easy to be tricked by false gods. Getting you to consider them gods was the first trick. Apply that to the nooze as you see fit.
Sorry to be so stingy with comments lately. We’ve been having a lot of thunderstorms that have kept me from the computer in the past couple of days, and I’m still trying to catch up with the overflowing inbox.
I won’t forget the night some years ago when a really close lightning strike fried my computer as I was using it. To be avoided at all costs!
