‘Bread of Heaven’ (Cwm Rhondda)

No hymn requests this morning, so I’m on my own. When that happens, I usually post the very first hymn that comes into my head. Today it’s a Welsh hymn, Cwm Rhondda, which many of us know as Bread of Heaven. Sung here by the Morriston Orpheus Choir.

  1. Well, as is often the case, my hymn request didn’t go through, and now I have forgotten what it was, so I’ll look up another and get back. Oh now I remember: A Moment of Time by Carroll

  2. In many of the old hymns, there is something so deep and moving. Something, that will never grow old and will withstand the test of time. I love both the old and many of the newer songs and hymns.
