I’ve loved this hymn since I was a boy in Sunday school–This Is My Father’s World, sung here by James Loynes.

“This is my Father’s world,/ O let me ne’er forget/ That tho’ the wrong seems oft so strong,/ God is the ruler yet.”

Amen to that!

  1. I sing this song at times when I am outside cleaning our road and canal, and planting flowers, and bushes. In some places, after a great deal of effort, it’s starting to look like a garden.

    1. I have a question. Is there a way to edit our posts on this site once it’s posted? If there is, you could fix that. And I also, at times would like to “fix” some of my posts.

    2. There is an editing procedure, but it doesn’t always work when I try it. Besides, I don’t like to take it upon myself to change something that a reader has said.

      More on that little nuance later!
