Welcome back, Phoebe! How was your “no electricity” day?
It wasn’t all that bad. They finished up by noon — but in the meantime my internet provider went down until mid-afternoon. Today has been the killer, though. Iggy had a bad night last night, which meant I did, too. Then I had to make a bunch of stops — haircut, bank, two supermarkets, followed by a trip over to Jimmy John’s to bring two of the staff little birthday cakes, and then unloading a Chewy autoship of disposable litter boxes, followed in turn by collapsing on the couch and falling asleep for an hour and a half. I’m exhausted and aching — and tomorrow is housecleaning day. 😴 Oh, well. At least I have electricity and internet service again. And Iggy hasn’t thrown up so far, since his last bout at 2:50 this morning. So we’re ahead of the game … so far.
Meanwhile, Robbie has mostly stopped eating. I’ll pray for yours if you’ll pray for mine. (Actually I’ll pray for Iggy anyway.)

I am astounded by that picture. I guess after all of the Messi videos, I shouldn’t be surprised that large cats can be tamed, to some degree, but grabbing a lion by the back legs seems scary to me. But good old Joe C. nothing scares him. 🙂
