Obama and '60s Bomber: A Look Into Crossed Paths - The New ...

We was all young oncet! But we wasn’t all bombers.

Remember Bill Ayers? You used to see his picture in the post office; he blew things up. Somehow he went from a “Most Wanted” terrorist to a revered “educator”–and mentor to that menace, Obama. Here he is basking in the TV limelight, a few years ago.

Bill Ayres, Bilge-Master

By now there so many Far Left freaks in our government that Ayers has been eclipsed.

I tremble for my country.

  1. They said if Alexander had admitted to adultery with a thousand women in his publically printed apology instead of one person he would have been better forgiven him. I never understood making heroes our of people like Billy the Kid, or George Floyd.

    1. That is one of the oddities of our fallen nature. I recently watched a very convincing video about the identity of D.B. Cooper. According to this video, “Cooper” was a Vietnam veteran that was angry, because he couldn’t get a job in law enforcement, so he hijacked a plane in ‘71, and then repeated his crime, roughly 6 months later. He was caught for the second hijacking, convicted, escaped from prison, then shot by the FBI, after a string of bank robberies. What amazed me, were the comments people made, taking the hijacker’s side and making him out to be a folk hero. He was a criminal, and I believe that his last living act was to fire a gun at an FBI agent.

Perhaps he had a sad story to tell, but that doesn’t make him a hero. The other thing that occurs to me, is that his nature and character may have been apparent to people making the hiring decisions. Criminals don’t happen overnight, and if any hint of his nature had come through in the screening process, that may have prevented his hiring. I must confess that the cleverness of D.B. Cooper’s hijacking method could capture one’s imagination, but he, in no way, was a hero.
