Yesterday’s communists, today’s Democrats
I don’t like to think that earlier phases of my life were fictional. But the differences between then and now are so sharply drawn, it’s very tempting to suspect only one or the other is real.
So much for philosophy.
How did this whole party get taken over by Far Left Crazy? What happened to all the normal people who were in it? Were they killed and eaten? I confess I used to be a Democrat. The 1972 county Democrat Convention permanently cured me of it. But they did used to have nice picnics.
By 9 a.m. this morning I was already pleading for mercy as my wife read me nooze headlines. If there only were some way to tunnel out of this age…
The Marxists infiltrated the Democratic party first, because their ideology was already closer in line with their own. After that, it was just a matter of time, and now they’re infiltrated into the Republican party, too. (In Canada, the NDP and Greens were already Marxist, so they went after the Liberal party for the power.)
The Marxists actually hate the Democratic party, as they don’t think it’s leftist enough for them, so the party cannibalism is to be expected.
It’s almost as if the fall of the Soviet Union caused some toxic ideological boil to burst, and the poison hatched out worldwide.
Our speaker at City Elders last night was Dan Fisher of the Black Robe Regiment movement. He said a Christian cannot be a Democrat because of their platform policies on abortion, etc. One in the audience had a hard time with that summation, so Dan said if a Christian does vote Democrat it is out of ignorance. There is a whole lot of ignorance going on in today’s Christian church.
About time somebody said that!
