Pachamama–how much “diversity” does he want?
Pope Francis I, the Red Pope who brought a “Pachamama” idol into the Vatican, has announced that he will make “diversity in the Church” his January prayer intention (https://www.breitbart.com/faith/2024/01/02/pope-francis-dedicates-january-prayer-to-diversity-in-the-church/).
Meanwhile, at the same time, he continues efforts to wipe out the traditional Latin mass. Apparently that’s too much diversity. Or the wrong kind of diversity. I don’t know: words get very tricky when leftids use them. It would be nice to know just what he means by “diversity.”
We sigh and pray for faithful Catholics who have to live with this pope. We Protestants have our own problems, just as bad. We are all the sheep of Christ’s pasture and we all need our Shepherd.
Honk if you can imagine St. Paul praying for more “diversity.”
Bringing an idol into a place of worship that purports to be dedicated to worship of the One True God strikes me as very wrong minded. When ancient Israel turned to false gods, their prospects did not improve.
Maybe he thinks the Old Testament was written just for laughs.
Well, men make their big plans and God laughs. I wouldn’t want to be in a situation where God was laughing at me, in derision.
