I don’t know if they’re still doing this, but some years ago, colleges and looniversities set up “Halloween Hot Lines”: you could call ’em up to find out whether your costume is “offensive.” The gibbons answering the phone calls would decide.
“Progressives” really hate the idea of people enjoying themselves–unless it’s at a public execution.
This is truly ridiculous. I have seen some pretty ugly Halloween costumes in my day, but if I don’t like them, I can look elsewhere.
The neighbor down the street where I have to turn right to get to a main street put up his giant witch display the first of September – it lights up at night. He has several little children, so he thinks all the ghosts and goblins in his yard along with the 15′ witch is great fun for the whole neighborhood (but not for me).
Fifteen feet tall? Yeesh!
